Brief Description:  Riveting fuel tank ribs #1

My friend Mike Cencula (RV-7A - www.our7a.com) came down to help with the goo. It was time to start installing ribs into my fuel tanks. We started on the left tank and began witth the middle ribs. We got 3 done, so roughly an hour per rib if you count prep and cleanup. The first rib was all learning curve so next time we should be a little faster. Everything worked out well, we did have one "oops", but we quickly drilled out the errant rivet and pressed on. The finish on the skins looks good so I'm pleased. Lots of ProSeal so hopefully no leaks. The plan is to try to go at it again on Thursday. Fun stuff and it's always great working with Mike. Our projects are relatively close together in progress and he does excellent work. 3 ribs down 4 to go and that is only the left fuel tank. Also I need to order some hardware from Vans to setup my return lines.
