I started on the wing specific section today. I first began with the flaps. This has been by far the easiest part of construction so far. It is a pretty simple step and the parts are easy to manipulate. I think this is primarily due to the thickness of the flap skins and that the skin is preformed (top, side and bottom). I did not install the flairlead material where the rod from the flap actualtor connects to the flap. I did locate these parts but I would like to see how the actualor rod actually connects to the flap before I install it. I can see that the first wing construction is going to take some time since you are actually constructing a lot of components on both wings at the same time (flaps, aileron, rear span, etc).
