Received Williams Wynne's conversion manual in the mail and have read it cover to cover in the last few days. If you are going to install a corvair motor, the $60 is well spent. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about the corvair motor due the crankshaft failures but now that there are a few 5th bearing designs that have flown successfully I'm confident the corvair motor for aircraft is sound. I'm also considering a billet crank plus the 5th bearing. Financing and other things will determine what I plan on doing but I'm leaning to do the billet crank first.
