Brief Description: Step #1,3 Dimpling Front Spar and Root Rib
Dimpled E-00902-1R Right Spar. 3 #40 holes on frame with regular dimple dies. Dimpled E-00906-1 Root rib with close quarter bar and subframe male die. Checked that bar is set .017' deeper. Tried with original die and the rivet was .002" deeper, then swiched to subframe die and rivet was .009" deeper. Finished other 2 holes with subframe die. Ends of the flange curled slightly, made them straight with pliers.Also, made smile faces because I was agressive on the rivet gun. Next time should take time and be easy on it.Dimpled flanges of front Spar using regular male die and reduced diameter female die. Tried to use subframe male and reduced diameter female and that didn't work out; it made incomplete dimple. Fixed with regular die.
