I helped a friend cleanup a dirt floor barn that was collapsing and full of scrap lumber, old cabinets, a rotted out vw, and an assorted collection of years of junk collecting. We uncovered a 50’s vintage Sears and Roebuck band saw that was covered in muck. My friend generously gave it to me and I spent the evening cleaning it up.
The wood blade works like a charm on the 1/16 and 1/8 aluminum plate cutting. Better then the abrasive blade or the wood blade on my bench saw. I still prefer my throat less shear for aluminum and steel sheet metal.
