I just put this together using some scrap 1/4" plywood to see what the instruments would look like in a panel and for engine running. Well it has actually pretty much stayed this way. I have plans to do away with the Altimeter. It looks cool but is heavy. Engine gauges are EGT & CHT (x2), oil temp and pressure, tachometer. The ASI is small and functional. I have since added a slip indicator and phone mount which displays my gound speed for a bit of fun. I placed the mag switch on the right hand side away from the throttle. I am not comfortable flying with my left hand on the throttle and so close to a kill switch. Without an electrical system and starter motor I can not restart should I fly into rough air and have my hand flick up and inadvertently hit the switch. The wing loading is light and it can get 'bouncy' in flight sometimes.
I plan on a full panel rebuild using a tablet and apps.
