Tail feathers in place and setting the hinges up as well as the elevator and stops.

The firewall is .016" stainless steel and was cut from a trimmed using thick cardboard as a template.

I originally planned to have the windscreen meet at the top of the leading edge of the wing but changed my mind when trying to sort out the stand offs needed to stop it from being too flexible. Turned out easier to just wrap it around the downtubes and side tubes and have it go in between the gap of the wings. Held in place with adel clamps, rubber washers and AN525 screws.
The gap cover between the wings is .025" 6061T6. It is screwed through the wings and into the ply blocks glued between the inside ribs a long time ago for this very purpose. The rear of the gap cover is bent back and under the wings and finishes at the rear downtubes. The front is trimmed so there is a 1/8" gap between it and the windscreen.

I went for AN5 bolts instead of the original AN4 for the engine mount to fuselage connections. Had to drill out the 1/4" holes to accommodate the thicker bolts. There was plenty of meat on the tubes to do this.

Gascolator placed at the lowest point in the fuel lines is secured to the firewall.
