Brief Description:  Calibrating fuel tanks

The 2 roto-molded fuel tanks are transparent. There is no better fuel gauge than looking up and actually seeing how much fuel is in each tank.
I calibrated from empty to full in 5 litre increments. "FLIGHT LTS" being the most important is situated in its own triangulated section.
I raised the tail of the LE to the level flight attitude and added fuel to each tank until it just started to flow out of the fuel line. That is the "0" litre line as anything below that would be considered unusable fuel. I then lowered the tail to the 3 point attitude and marked the "0" line which can be easily seen in the left photo.
Add a measured 5 litres to each tank from the 3 point attitude and again mark the "5" line.
Raising the tail to the level attitude and mark the "5" line inside the "FLIGHT LTS" section.

25 litres in each tank gives a very long range of 6-7 hours...I have plans some big trips down the track.
