Brief Description:  Windscreen

I am having a curved windscreen which will need to meet the leading edge of the wing at the correct angle. Problem is I do not have the room to mount the wings inside the factory and do it outside will draw way too much attention to get any meaningful work done so my solution has been to build a false leading edge from the ribs I removed to make way for the fuel tanks. The leading edge ribs are cut from an old cardboard box and held together with duck tape. A length of timber is bolted to the wing fittings and then the ribs to that timber. Some left over 0.8mm plywood and I have a leading edge I can build a windscreen to.
White cardboard is taped to the centre of the leading edge and draped over the front of the fuselage to begin the windscreen template.
