Brief Description:  Gathering materials

The next chapter in building is about to begin.

All the 4130N chromemoly tubing is stacked and ready to be turned into a fuselage. Having worked a little with gas welding on a previous aircraft build some years ago (KR2S), I liken the use of oxy/acetylene welding to a form of art. I am no master by any stretch of the imagination but enjoy and appreciate the practice and skill required.

Bought some new low pressure regulators to replace my previous ones which struggled to maintain a consistant flow of gasses as such low flow rates. My torch of choice is the Henrob/Dillon which requires only 4psi or 28kPa. Have enjoyed using this torch in the past with excellent results and can't wait to be welding and crafting the fuselage very soon.
