Cut 8 x 0.8mm plywood into strips to cover the double ribs at the ends of the wings. Trimmed the overhanging trailing edge timbers and routed the plywood even after staples pulled.
The plans call for 1.5mm x 1-1/4" plywood for the gap seals however I do not have any so decided to make some for myself as there is an excess amount of 0.8mm laying around.
Built a simple press from 2 sheets of ripped down chipboard flooring. Plastic sheet covering the bottom one, 2 lengths for each strip of 0.8mm with Titebond III between and plastic sheet folded back over the top. The top sheet of flooring was predrilled to allow the screws to pass freely. When layed on top all screws were driven home...the prefect press.
