Once the big items were attached and secured with their final lock nuts, time came to do the more fine a fiddly things like attaching the seat belt, turnbuckles to cables and safety wiring, wing gap cover, side panels, safety wiring all castellated nuts. Brake cables to levers, hooking up the engine instruments...all the while listening to the radio and getting to know who flies here and the unspoken protocols.
