Brief Description:  Assmebly begins

Whilst this was not the full assembly stage as it still needed to be transported to the hanger when completed, it nonetheless let me bring it all together and note any changes that could be made at home. New parts made or modified are easier done here as there is no power in my hangar. Even at this stage I am not using locking nuts until I am completely satisfied with the finished product and all fine tuning has been made.
Pulling back the protective plastic exposes a gorgeous gloss black fuselage.
Riveted the seat in.
Landing gear was put back together and bolted straight on as did the cockpit controls.
The aluminum sheet floor is thin but it is light I don't put any pressure on it with my feet when getting in and out and there are no real heel marks in the time I have been flying.
The steel wing strut fittings were all marked with small cuts on their ends so I could work out which ones went on the correct aluminum struts. I recommend doing this as they all look the same when painted.
