Brief Description: Engine mount tubes

The engine mount will be built using 1/2" x .049" 4130N tubing.
The 4 x tubes which hold the rubber shock absorber bushings and mount to the engine, are 1-3/8" x .065" and are each 1" long. An AN960-1016 washer (O.D 1.118" x I.D. 0.64" x 0.063" thick) is welded mid way inside the tube. Cut a 1/2" thick 'puck' from 1" rod which holds the washer in the correct position to be tacked and then fully welded.
The rubber shock absorber bushings are Dorman #31018 that I bought of Amazon for about $8 a pair. They will sit either side of the welded washer.
