I have chosen to have a tank in each wing to give me some serious endurance as I intend some big trips from time to time. There is much to explore in Australia.
I decided to buy roto-molded fuel tanks from Team Minimax as they are made to fit the Minimax wing which is essentially the same as the LE. The first rib bay of the LE wing is 13" wide and the tank is 13-3/8" so I have cut the 3rd rib out and just so happened to have a spare one and have epoxied it in as well as new verticals giving about 14-1/2" room.
