The elevator is flipped over and the excess cut away leaving slightly lifted edge that needs to be heated to re-activate the adhesive and then pushed down with the felt pad. The same process is down on the other side however the Hotmelt has to be now applied to what is the top edge of son to be overlapped fabric and of course let dry. Heating wet adhesive does not work. Pull tight and heat just along the trailing edge of the fabric and then trim the excess as before. The felt pad and heat is again used to smooth the slightly lifted edge.
