Brief Description:  Zero washout

The dihedral is set using the front strut and adjusting the length of the rear one more or less sets the amount of washout. I have built the wing flat which is to plans so the angle at the root and tip of the wing should match. This is regardless of whether the aircraft is level, tail up, tail down or upside down.
16.30 degrees is angle of the wing at the root with the aircraft sitting on its temporary main gear (suspension yet to be added) and the tailwheel. Lifting the rear spar using my ladder and timber method brings the wing up to 16.30 degrees at the tip too. Rear strut fittings are marked and drilled, temporary bolts inserted and the left wing is now firmly attached with zero degrees washout and 3" dihedral to the tip.
