The AS&S 3/4" x 3/4" fairleads are made to fit perfectly inside a 3/4" x .062" tube. I could only get that tube in .065" which was just a little too thick. That .003" makes all the difference so I went with .058" which worked fine.
Each fairlead tube is cut 7/16" long for a perfect fit and clamped before welding. I have made one guide at the rear for both rudder cables to pass through and raised it to lift the cables from the fuselage cross tubes, meaning less fairleads required and thus less weight. There are a total of 5 fairleads for the entire fuselage.
