Per Leonard's plans, I am using a trolley wheel assembly bought for a total cost of $6. The hard plastic wheel was tossed in the bin and replaced with 100mm x 24mm roller blade wheel. I had to add 2mm shims to each side of the axle and these were cut from some 3/8" tube. The white wheel is noticeably wider at 28mm and I may use it when flying out of somewhere with softer ground. Both wheels have rubber seals to protect the bearings from water and dirt ingress. At $15 & $20 respectably I think I can afford to carry a spare in stock.
