Was good to see complete weld penetration in the cross section of the 7/8" & 5/16" welded together hinge tubes.
I drill 1/8" holes for the rivets on each side of the 7/8" tube and then cut in half lengthwise before cutting each hinge off at 1/2" lengths.
Primer, topcoat then JB Weld and rivets secure them firmly to mounting tubes.
Clevis pins (AN393/MS20392-1C) make for the perfect hinge pin.
