Brief Description:  More drilling

Today we were down at Joyce’s Mother’s to celebrate Christmas with her, and I talked to Steve on the way about the 1/8” drill vs. the #30 drill. Steve said he had used the 1/8” drill for the #30 on occasion, and the rivets fit fine, so I used the angle drill attachment I already had with the 1/8” bit to drill the fore and aft flanges on the inboard ribs on the left HS. That worked fine, with Joyce holding the HS in place while I drilled the 4 holes. That allowed me to go on and finish drilling all the skin to spar and skin to rib holes and drill the center reinforcing angles to the forward spar. That done, I then disassembled the left HS for deburring, dimpling, etc., and picked up on the right HS where I left off last night. I managed to get to the point where I need to drill the inboard rib fore and aft flanges, but since Joyce had long gone to sleep, I called it a night.
