Got invited to a friends house for my birthday, my wife Joyce is up in New Jersey playing with our grandsons while I stay here and work. I am 66 today; you history buffs will figure out that I was born 2 days prior to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. My goal is to have this thing flying before I turn 70. After getting home, I spent a little time preparing the other front HS spar half for bending, then clamped each spar half to the bench and bent the end of each up 6° as called for in the plans
The inboard ends of the two halves of the forward HS spar, trimmed and bent up 6°.
