Brief Description:  Actually started

A small start tonight, I put the first tool to metal in the construction process by trimming the corners of the rear HS spar reinforcing strips in the band saw, preparatory to filing the ends round. First, I had to go to Home Depot to get an arbor for the scotchbrite wheel in order to mount it in the drill press. I started scotchbriting the strips, but the new wheel is a little out of round so didn’t want to press too hard until I get a chance to dress the wheel to a round condition with the portable belt sander. I will then be able to polish them properly, and begin the initial assembly process. Got a late start, so didn’t do much tonight. Still need to get the dimpling equipment and a bench mounted belt sander. Saw one at HD for $99.00, will check out Lowe’s and a couple other places before springing for one.
