Brief Description:  More getting ready

While waiting to be able to rivet the bottom right skins, I looked at the joint between the tank/leading edge skin and the main skin, and did not like the small gap I saw. It was less than 1/32" wide, but still all the others fit right together. I remembered when the wing was nose down in the cradle and I was clecoing the skin in place, it was natural to cleco it to the rear spar first, because that was the top. I also remembered that the clecos on the main spar were a very tight fit and difficult to get in. So I pulled out all the clecos with the wing flat on the table, and reclecoed with the main spar clecos going in first. The results were much better, the gap is gone, but the rear spar clecos were really tight and difficult to get in, so I will run a #40 drill through them to free them up a little. I would rather have the skin 1/32" off at the rear spar than the front.

Still no riveting help, so continued with the harness for the roll servo by twisting the 2 pairs of signal conductors by hand.

Making a twisted pair of wires the old fashioned way, should have done it this way to start with.
