Brief Description:  Got ready for the tank baffle.

Had a few details left to do to get ready to place the baffle (rear panel) that closes the tank permanently, such as attaching the small reinforcement plates on the inside of the tank at the nose of the outboard and inboard tank ribs. So I coated them with proseal and riveted them in place. The inboard plate matches up with a support bracked on the outside of the tank that will later bolt to the fuselage, with a slot cut in it the size of the bolt diameter. This will provide vertical support, and still allow the bracket to break away with the tank if the wing should strike some fixed object in a crash. I also added a little bit of sealer on the end rib flange to skin joints, and on the rivet heads on the end ribs. Looks like it is finally ready for the baffle installation, maybe tomorrow night.

Baffle installation was the 15th, see next page, had more than 3 pics, so put one here since only 2 were used originally.
