Brief Description:  More right tank construction

Yesterday I went to attach the #10 platenuts to the tank brackets, to be closer to ready when the new skin got here today, and found that I didn't have enough, needed 24. I started to order some from AC Spruce, then remembered that there were some on the previous set of brackets. So, I dug them out of the scrap bin, center punched the heads of the rivets, and drilled them out. There were so many that I took them up to the garage and used the drill press for that job, much quicker and cleaner. After that I took the nutplates back down to the basement aircraft factory and riveted them to the new attach angles, except for the one that is being replaced.

The new skin, baffle, attach angle and rib came today. When I was ordering them, I figured that Next Day Air would be too expensive, and didn't want to wait a week for ground shipment, so thought Second Day Air would be a good compromise. Well, HOLY SHIT!! Shipping cost for that was 173 bucks! That was more than the cost of the parts. Wonder how much next day would have been. I'm not about to find out any time soon.

Today I unpacked the new parts, drilled the spar attach holes in the new attach angle, fastened all of them to the spar, attached the new baffle, and match drilled all the holes.
