Brief Description: Riveted the left wing aileron hinges in place
Got a break today from Honey-do's when a thunderstorm came up and I had to take a break from pressure washing the house. We are having several friends from church over for potluck dinner next weekend, and the better half has gotten into the borderline irrational cleaning frenzy that seems to accompany these events, so I have had to participate, putting aside unimportant things like the RV-7. So, during the break for the storm I was able to disappear down into the basement for a bit and rivet the left wing aileron hinges in place.
Failed to use the shorter rivet on the outside part of the hinge that rivets to the rib rather than the spar, so had to drill three of them out and redo. Wondered why the tops were bending over instead of mushrooming properly. Now, they look good.
