Today being Saturday and for a change work wasn't pressing so hard that I had to tend to it, I got to work on the project some more. I called my riveting buddy Steve, and he will come over Monday night and help me rivet the leading edge to the left wing. So, I spent today getting all in place to allow the riveting to proceed.
There is not room for a riveting gun in most of the leading edge, and I wanted the factory head of the round head rivets to go on the inside because that is where the thinnest material is. So, I modified a bucking bar by drilling a 3/16" hole in the surface to hold a set for round heads.
Then, since some of the rivets are real close to the rearward ribs, I had to file/sand a flat spot on the side of the back riveting set so it can get around the rivet shank.
