Brief Description:  Finished closing the left tank

This afternoon I decided that it was time to put the cover plate on the inboard rib and get the left tank finished and ready to test. After the experience with the right tank, I was very generous with the proseal on this one. Prior to installing the cover plate, I added proseal to the top, bottom, and end seams for the rear baffle, working through the access hole in the end rib, then used my finger, in a nitrile glove, to make a smooth bead on the inside. I also used proseal on the inner side of the cover plate gasket. After that, it was just a matter of smearing proseal on the screw threads and screwing the plate to the end rib, then repeating the process with the fuel gauge sending unit.

I am nervous about testing this thing; if it leaks I am going to be very frustrated. If it doesn't, I will jump right into redoing the right tank with a light heart.
