Brief Description:  Installed the baffle on the back of the left tank.

Today I decided to quit stalling and install the left tank baffle. After the experience with the right tank, I guess I have been a little gunshy. So, I mixed up a little proseal and torqued and sealed the fuel pickup tube in place on the cover plate (picture on previous page), and started on the baffle. I used the cartridge type proseal from Van's to lay the bead on the skin for the baffle to stick to, and on the end rib rear flanges. After slippng the baffle in place and clecoing every hole to the skin, I installed the blind rivets in the rear of the baffle and in the tank to spar supports. As always, one blind rivet broke off in the wrong place, leaving a stem sticking out. I will have to find some end nippers to cut it off. I then riveted the baffle to the end ribs, and squeezed 128 rivets in the skin to baffle joints.

I left the cover plate off until after the baffle is in place, I am contemplating installing some more proseal on the inside of the corners at the rear of the tank, to make a leak less likely.
