Brief Description:  Worked on the left tank cover plate.

After a long layoff with work, and making progress on the gazebo to keep the wife happy, I finally got back to the ritht fuel tank for a short while. I bent and cut the fuel pickup tube, slotted it on top for the fuel inlet, and match drilled the bracket that stops the flare nut on the pickup tube from turning to the cover plate. Can't assemble it permanently until I have some proseal mixed up to seal the bracket and the fuel pickup bulkhead fitting where they pass through the rib. That will be when I am ready to install the baffle on the rear of the tank.

I decided to do this one a little different from the left tank, in that I will install the baffle before the cover plate, so I can add some proseal on the inside of the end bay after the baffle is in place. Hopefully that will help avoid the leak problem I had with the right tank. The picture of the sealed plate below was actually done 4 days later when I installed the baffle, but there are already 3 pics for that date, which is the limit.
