Brief Description: Started final assembly of the tailcone
Continued to get started riveting the tailcone. Made up a couple of doublers to put on top of one of the rivet tabs on the F712 bulkhead on each side, to reinforce the tab where the rivet goes. I also decided to beef up the rivets on the rudder stops after seeing an RV with the stops knocked off from the rudder banging on it during a windstorm, so used AN470 rivets in 3 of the holes instead of AN426 in two holes and CS4-4 blind rivets in the front two. Had to use the CS4-4 in one of the front holes due to the j strip preventing getting a bucking bar on the rivet.
The finished "sandwich" on the left side.
Also decided to use AN470 rivets on the rudder stop.
Same tab on the right side, not quite as bad, but still insufficient edge distance.
