Brief Description: Started match drilling the tailcone
Finished getting the tailcone clecoed together, including the top front skin. Directions did not call for that, but read a post on VAF where someone else had done that in order to make the overall structure more rigid during the drilling process, so I tried it too. Seems to be working pretty well, the plumb bob at each end indicates that there was no twist in the structure, and it doesn't move. Got started drilling, from the rear, but the boss yelled down the stairs that she was going to sleep and the drill was too loud, so had to hang it up until tomorrow. Some people's priorities are sure screwed up.
Fuse tailcone ready to match drill. Thought the picture in the upper left was quite appropriate.
Top front skin clecoed in place to help make the tub more rigid during the drilling process.
