These hinges are cut from 2mm (0.4") thick stainless steel (AISI 304) in a laser cutter. they are CNC bent to precision. A pin is machined on a lathe from stainless steel (also AISI 304) for each hinge and drilled for cotter pin. I made 10 hinges (1 spare, jjust in case...) and the whole process took about 10 hours. I have installed all the hinges for testing on elevators and rudder and experienced no problems in working. They all twisted 90 degrees plus without and access friction and binding. The diameters of the pins are 5mm (slightly larger than 3/16"). Weight of each hinge is shown on images #2 and #3 in grams and ounces, consecutively.
