I chose to Alodine all small details. It will be cheaper and lighter than paint type primers. A few minutes in the Alumi-prep to clean the details, Rinse, then into the Alodine for a few minutes and Viola...now just wait a few minutes for the coating to dry and we'll be ready to assemble.
