Brief Description: Install rudder components to spar
The reinforcement plates and platenuts installed on the rudder spar.
Developed a detailed assembly sequence for the "rivet the R-904 rib and associated parts" step: 1. Cleco the horn brace to the rudder horn then rivet them (4 places). 2. Cleco the reinforcement plate, rudder spar, shim, and rudder horn and then rivet them (3 places). 3. Slide the bottom rib between the spar and rudder horn. 4. Rivet the 2 outside hoes to the spar. 5. Cleco the platenut in place and then rivet it. 6. Rivet the horn brace to the R904 bottom rib. Completed these steps.
