LAst night I discovered I put the laps on the underside of the airlerons the wrong way. This morning I drilled out the rivets and lapped them the right way. Went well and looks fine. Also had 2 parts on the airleron brackets wrong (sent photo's to Vans and they picked it up) so drilled them out as well and got them right. Prepared the flap parts for priming. Wet day so took a long time to dry. Primed late afternoon. Fitted and riveted the airleron brackets, airleron gap faring and the flap brace. Also riveted trailing edge of top skin to fairing. Started assembling the flaps. Peter Hales (Flying Instructor from Busselton) and his wife Raylene, visited today to look at the plane and we all had lunch together.
