I am toying with the idea ot installing rudder trim. I am debating whether to build it into the skins before putting the skins together or modifying the rudder after. I included some trim ideas that I got from Airventure 2008. I like the idea of the red one with the hinge on the opposite side of the actuating arm to give less throw of the tab for the movement of the servo. I also like the actuating rod away from the center, so as not to disturb the airflow over the tab. I used Lego to get an idea of how much throw I would get from the 1.2" of servo travel (the white and gray bar near the bottom of the picture represent the servo. I was actually able to make the Lego model very close to scale.
