Brief Description:  VS Skeleton

Dimpling, deburring and countersinking. When mating VS-1002 and VS-1015, I was not happy with how they fit together. VS-1002 was dimpled and VS-1015 is countersunk. VS-1002 would not fit tight enough to VS-1015 and I could see daylight through the two pieces. I have seen a video on You-Tube from the 40's showing dimpling and countersinking and they say to have the skin dimpled at 100deg and countersinking at 110deg. I talked to Bob Avery from Avery tools and he said that only 100deg dimples and countersinks are used these days. He did suggest a 120deg countersink. I'm not sure what to do about this right now, I will have to talk to some more people and/or show someone.
