Section 12 date 11-9-05After I clamped the upper cowl to the propeller back plate with .700 spacer blocks. I trimmed off the upper aft edge of the cowl to have 1/8”clearance from the spinner back plate. I located the aft cowl by measuring the radius break out of the cheek area to the top skin lower edge. Then cross check the top of the forward cowl cheek with a level for any twist. I didn’t trim the cheek area for lack of a good datum line No images
