Date 8-27-06 Sec 12 I started the cooling baffles last week. I am using the rv4 baffle kit from Van’s. The instructions provided with the kit are adequate. After removing the components from the box I spend some time arranging the parts on the floor to get an idea were they would fit on the engine. I started in the left rear corner behind #3 cylinder and worked my way forward. After completing the left baffles I repeated the same process on the right side. I trimmed the lower air ramps to fit the lower cowl and then started the center bulkhead baffle. With the baffles complete fitting the top edge clearance to the upper cowl is a very time consuming process. I must have removed and installed the upper cowl 20 times before the job was finish.
