Brief Description: Duct Tape Method for Nose and Rear Ribs
For Nose and rear Ribs, mark center lines along all external flanges using Sharpie.
On inner flanges, mark for reference the mid points matching the external markings. This will be used to line up the ribs with the Spar rivet lines previously marked.
Add clearance holes for solid rivets in web for 7A.
Using Duct Tape and Framing Square, attach all nose ribs along rivet line.
Using framing square and a back board pressed against flange, drill pilot holes through web and nose rib flange. Check for alignment before each hole.
Drill pilot holes in 7A replicating pitch from L angle (5 x 15mm)
Remove Nose ribs.
Drill #20 holes in nose ribs using pilot holes.
Repeat Duct Tape process for rear ribs, drilling #20 holes through the pilot holes in web. (Don't forget check alignment and use back board)
Debur all holes.
Reattach nose ribs, drill top and bottom holes for A6 rivets.
