Brief Description:  Connected throttle and choke cables

Connected throttle and choke cables as follows:

1. After establishing routing, tightened firewall pass-thru's to secure outer cable jackets to firewall.

2. Pulled throttle and choke control knobs until approximately 1 ft of cable was exposed in the cockpit.

3. Cut outer cable jackets with a dremel tool. Pushed controls back in and trimmed inner cables.

4. Replaced cable adjusters on the Bing carburetors with those provided with the McFarlane cable, as they had more range of adjustment and set screws to hold the outer jacket in place.

5. Set throttle control 1/4" from the firewall and tightened friction lock in cockpit. Pulled cables taught and tightened cable nut on throttle arms.

6. Place hemostat clamp on choke cable to establish approximately 3/16" from full forward position.. Pulled cables taught and tightened set screws on cable ends. Red Loctite was applied to set screws prior to insertion.

7. Safety wired outer cable jackets to cable adjusters to prevent them from backing out.

8. Swaged Nicopress stop sleeves on bare ends of cables to prevent fraying and pull-thru.
