Brief Description: Installed static system and wiring in tailcone
Installed static system and wiring in tailcone as follows:
1. Connected prevously-fabricated harness to stabilator trim servo. Drilled hole in aft bulkhead, installed grommet, and passed cable through. Threaded cable forward through bulkhead lightening holes.
2. Prepared a twisted pair of #18 red and black wire for flashing beacon. Anchored wire to bulkhead 4 and passed wire forward through lightening holes.
3. Installed balance tube between the two static ports. Anchored "T" fitting to top of bulkhead using adel clamp, ensuring good drainage for any condensation.
4. Ran static line forward to instrument panel frame, cutting to allow for ample extra tubing to make final connection.
5. Drilled anchor points along cable/tubing runs, riveting nylon clamps and tie wrap anchors to secure to tailcone floor.
6. Pulled wires and tubing back into tailcone and temporarily secured to belcrank box. Removed tailcone from center fuselage to prepare for final assembly.
