Brief Description: Initial Assembly of LH Aileron Frame

Performed inital assembly of the LH aileron frame per the Rans manuals. Details as follows: 1. Assembled ribs to center aileron stations on aileron spar using 3/32 cleco's. 2. Cleco'd hinge halves in place - these were fabricated and drilled to 3/32 during LH wing frame assembly. 3. Separated sections of the spar reinforcment plate (KPAL0072) using a dremet tool, then polished the edges on the scotchbrite wheel. 4. Fabricated the .025 shim per Figure 04A-05. 5. Assembled parts to the outboard rib station to the spar, drilling as required to 3/32 and cleco'd in place. 6. Assembled parts to inboard rib station to the spar, drilling as required to 3/32 and cleco'd in place. 7. Drilled all rivet holes to 1/8, with the exception of the nut plate attach holes. The LH aileron frame is ready for disassembly, deburring, edge polishing, and priming.
