Brief Description: LH wing final assembly - wing tip (2 of 2)
Completed wing tip installation on LH wing per Rans manuals. Since the landing light is a modification the following detail is provided:
1. Added an oval inspection plate to the forward wing tip fairing. The nut pates were flush riveted with solid aluminum rivets to the inspection ring prior to attachement to the tip fairing. This inspection panel will allow aiming adjustments on the landing light and servicing of the landing light and nav/strob light wiring without removing the tip fariring.
2. Installed a red AeroLEDs Pulsar-EXP nav/strobe light. This light has the forward-facing red nav light, a rear-facing white nav light, and a flashing strobe, all LED. The strobe will be syncronized with the strobe to be installed on the RH wing.
The LH wing is complete, except for riveting the flap skin, and is ready to go into storage until final assembly.
