Brief Description:  LH wing - leading edge

1. Began fitting the leading edge on the upper side of the LH wing. Drilled the line
of rivets along the main spar and ribs to #40, fastening the skin with cleco's.

2. Experienced outward "dimpling" of the leading edge skin, similar to what was
experienced during fitting of the empennage leading edge skins.

3. Removed all cleco's from the leading edge and set the skin aside.

4. Began trimming excess material from the wing nose ribs, shortening the most
forward tab from 1 1/4" to 15/16" and increasing the radius on the side of the rib to
relieve the pressure from the point at the forward corner of the tab.

In the picture below, the arrow points to the corner on an unmodified rib that causes the outward dimple on the leading edge skin. The rib on the right has been trimmed to ease the pressure from that corner.
