Completed final riveting of the LH flap per the Rans construction manuals:
1. Deburred rivet holes, prepped an primed skin and frame.
2. Using flat lumber and finger pressure, took some of the bend out of the leading edge for a better fit agains the leading edge ribs.
3. Cleco'd skin to frame except for the leading edge. Positioned assembly on three 4x4 PVC posts and riveted both sides.
4. Cleco'd the leading edge, then riveted, working outward from the center. Riveting was accomplished with the assembly upside down for better visibility of the rib tab position.
5. Did not rivet the flap fillet on the inboard bottom rib line as this needs to be done during final assembly of the aircraft.
The leading edge fit is OK, not great but OK
The fillet will be added during final aircraft assembly
Ready for storage after the skin plastic is removed
