Continued on this today. I decided to add nutplates to the L gussets, so I could remove this thing whenever I needed better access into the hell hole.. For the holes on either end I had to cut off one of the arms of the nutplate. Used the pneumatic rivet squeezer to crush the 3/32 solid rivets. Note the Delrin washer on the toque tube anchor part...I'm actually going to change this to bronze bushing material...have some on the way from McMaster Carr and I'll make the washer on the lathe.
