I added a doubler underneath the seat belt bracket and also behind the control arm box...I plan do do the "banana slot mod" and eliminate the banana slot connection for the flaperons and that means that area needs to covered up. More on banana slot mod later.
I am also going to modify the seat belts...I'm going with John Austin's 4130 steel pipe, side to side between the seat belt brackets and use four point seat belts. I also upgraded the seat belt brackets to .070 4130 steel. I simply used the aluminum brackets as a template and fabricated 2 new.
